A combination of Mahogany wood and limestone, Samsara Designs’ Irog urn is inspired by Bahay na Bato, a Filipino colonial ancestral home.
The Bahay na Bato is a result of modifications from the traditional Filipino house called Bahay Kubo. What was previously made using purely organic materials was improved to make way for a stronger foundation that can withstand earthquakes and storms. This was achieved by using a combination of the following materials: stone, wood, and brick. The Bahay na Bato house is the result of efforts to make a structure that stands the test of time.
Just like its design inspiration, the Irog urn symbolizes strength and endurance of a tenacious soul— one whose presence will remain in the hearts of their loved ones through the rest of time.
This urn jar for ashes is for sale in two sizes, medium and large. It is made for adults, but niche sizes vary so please check with your columbarium first before purchasing. Please note that the medium sized urns are made suitable for most columbarium niches in the Philippines.
