Meet the Designers

Camille Ayala and Eber Sy are passionate about the advocacy of death positivity. Since most of their peers are avoidant in talking about death, they strongly believe that death should be openly talked about as it is an inevitable fate. With the concept of people choosing their houses and decorating them with their personalities in mind, Camille and Eber believe that choosing the final rites should be approached the same way, as urns and caskets should represent the personality of the departed.

As part of their eco-friendly agenda, the design duo decided to produce urns for ashes first as cremation is generally less harmful to the environment than traditional burial.

Camille Ayala and Eber Sy are selected as finalists for the 2023 Design Anthology Awards for Emerging Talent.
